Bio

Paul Ihle is a long-time resident of Thief River Falls, located in Pennington County. He has served on MMCDC’s Board since 2017. He attended the University of Minnesota to earn a business degree before attending the University of North Dakota to earn a law degree. Paul was an attorney in Thief River Falls in private practice until switching professions to one of retirement which has involved woodworking and travel. He has served on many boards, including United Way, MN Charities Review Council, Housing and Redevelopment Authority, Community Development advisory board, Noper Foundation, Northern Woodwork, Inc, Hartz Foundation, Community Development Bank, CDC Bancshares, and the Thief River Falls Education Foundation. Paul believes in repaying community support. He and his wife, Carol, have four children and three young grandchildren. Life is great when they get a call wanting to know if they are willing to babysit the grandchildren.
