On June 14, 2022, the White Earth Investment Initiative, a new subsidiary of the Midwest Minnesota Community Development Corporation, wass formed under the leadership of Arlen Kangas, Ph.D., to meet the community economic development goals of the White Earth Reservation. Its mission later expands to Native Communities in Minnesota. The following are highlights from its first 20 years.
